A government shuffle in Albania stripped Marshal Enver Hoxha of his posts of Minister of Defense and of Foreign affairs, but left him as Premier. Lt. General Mehmet Shehu, Hoxha's rival, remained as interior Minister and head of the police, but lost his post as secretary of the central committee of the Labor communist Party.
