Colorado Parks and Wildlife seminars focus on turkey and big game hunting

Colorado Parks and Wildlife will offer a Ladies Night Out (doors) Turkey Hunting 101 seminar at 6-8:30 p.m. Monday, March 20, at Colorado Youth Outdoors, Fort Collins.

The seminar for women will have a relaxed format with time for questions, social networking and information to increase understanding of turkey hunting.

A big game hunting seminar for both sexes will be held at 6:30-9 p.m. Thursday, March 30, at the CPW Hunter Education Classroom in Denver.

Experts from Colorado Parks and Wildlife will walk participants through and explain the ins and outs of the big game application process.

Attendees will learn the terms used, utilize new tools to decide where to hunt, and gather tips on filling out applications accurately and for maximum success.
