Stocks Round Up | Cargo Handlers today's top winner

The Jamaica Stock Exchange (JSE) Combined Index opened the week on Monday on a winning note.

The moderate trading ended with an advance/decline ratio of 55/35.

The JSE Combined Index advanced by 4,415.18 points or 1.10 per cent to close at 404,081.36.

The JSE Main Market Index advanced by 4,466.69 points or 1.15 per cent to close at 392,283.38, while the Junior Market Index advanced by 26.29 points or 0.64 per cent to close at 4,146.34.

The JSE USD Equities Index declined by 1.72 points or 0.82 per cent to close at 208.05.

Market volume

Some 14.26 million units valued at over $79.24 million were traded today.

Volume leaders were Transjamaican Highway, followed by CAB and Sagicor Select-Financial.
