Every 19 seconds, a woman is diagnosed with breast cancer. Each year, nearly 2,000 children die of cancer in the United States and nearly 100,000 children die of cancer worldwide. An average of over 40,000 women and over 400 men die every year of breast cancer. It's a worldwide problem and a cause worth fighting for.

All funds raised during the Party in Pink™ campaign will go to the Zumba® Global Research Grant for Breast Cancer Prevention. This grant is managed by Susan G. Komen®.

Founded in 1982, Susan G. Komen® is the world’s largest breast cancer organization, funding more breast cancer research than any other nonprofit; funded more than $800 million in research and provided $1.7 billion in funding to screening, education, treatment and psychosocial support programs serving millions of people in more than 30 countries worldwide. Komen was founded by Nancy G. Brinker, who promised her sister, Susan G. Komen, that she would end the disease that claimed Suzy’s life.
