Clinical Update 2017 Training Programme
Date: | 20-Mar-17 to 22-Mar-17 |
Location: | Hilton Birmingham Metropole / Birmingham / United Kingdom |
Category: | Healthcare & Pharmaceuticals Conferences & Trade Fairs |
The Society for Endocrinology’s Clinical Update training programme provides essential training for trainees and recently appointed consultants in endocrinology and diabetes. It provides an update on current clinical practice and offers delegates an unparalleled opportunity to network with fellow trainees and established endocrinologists.
Over a three-year period, the programme of the Society for Endocrinology Clinical Update Series covers all eight strands of the revised speciality curricula by the Joint Royal Colleges of Physicians Training Board (JRCPTB). This provides excellent preparation for the Specialty Certificate Examination (SCE) in Endocrinology and Diabetes.
The programme is organised in recurrent three-year cycles, ensuring that trainees and newly qualified consultants can start their attendance in any given year and are able to cover all topics within three years. The training programme is structured through lectures and interactive small-group workshops that focus on discussing best clinical practice based on day-to-day case scenarios. This structure creates an excellent atmosphere that provides an effective forum for networking with peers and established endocrinologists.
Over twenty faculty members and two hundred participants will attend the meeting, providing lots of opportunities for networking both in and outside the sessions.
The deadline for case submission is 9 January 2017
We hope you enjoy the programme and will find it invaluable in fulfilling your training requirements.
We look forward to welcoming you to Birmingham.
