Hempsons' Patient Safety Forum - Inquests

Please join Hempsons’ expert Inquest lawyers at our next seminar series.

The seminars will adopt a case study which delegates, putting themselves in the role of Coroner, will work through with Hempsons’ Inquest experts.

The Coroner’s Court is a public forum. Healthcare delivery to those that have died is scrutinised in great detail and healthcare staff have to give an account of that care delivery in the public forum of the Coroner’s Court when required to do so.

We will look at the circumstances in which an Inquest has to be held, and will take into account recent developments in the law and proposals for reform in relation to investigation of stillbirths and deaths in custody.

The seminars will be interactive and there will be plenty of opportunity for questions and discussion and the format will not be too rigid.

Speakers will include Hempsons’ Inquest law experts Adam Hartrick, Stephen Evans and Catherine McKenna.

This course is aimed at NHS, Medical Directors, Directors of Nursing, Clinical Leads, SI Investigators (Serious Incident), Risk, Legal Services and Claims Managers
