Sergey Prozorov elected as Member of Gazprom Management Committee
The Gazprom Board of Directors held a meeting in absentia.
The Board elected Sergey Prozorov as a Member of the Gazprom Management Committee for a five-year term.
Simultaneously, the Board of Directors terminated the authority of Yaroslav Golko as a Management Committee Member.
Background
In October 2014 the Construction Department was set up within the Company's structure, with Sergey Prozorov as its Head.
Sergey Prozorov was born in the Bryansk Region in 1958. In 1980 he graduated from Bryansk Transport Machine-Building Institute, majoring in Turbine Construction.
He has been employed at Gazprom Group for 34 years.
Between 1980 and 1983 he worked for Ukhtatransgaz Production Association, between 1983 and 2006 – for Severgazprom. He went up the career ladder from compressor operator to Deputy Director General for Capital Construction.
Between 2006 and 2007 – Head of the Capital Construction Directorate of Gazprom Transgaz Moscow.
Between 2007 and 2014 – First Deputy Head of the Investment and Construction Department of Gazprom.
