ANGOLA, January 16 - At the 4 de Fevereiro International Airport, the Head of State received farewell greetings from the Vice President of the Republic, Bornito de Sousa, the provincial governor of Luanda, Luther Rescova, auxiliary members of the Executive Branch, among other individuals.

João Lourenço will attend a meeting of the SADC's Double Troika on Thursday, at 9 am local time, says a note from the Civil Office to  the President of the Republic.

He will then take part in a summit with at least 16 other Heads of State for high-level consultations on the situation in the Democratic Republic of Congo.

The Democratic Republic of Congo held (on 30 December) general elections, whose provisional results give victory to the candidate Felix Tshissekedi.
