JANUARY

New Year - January 1: New Year's Day is one the most favorite holidays in Ukraine. Ukrainian Unity Day (Den- Sobornosti) - January 22: This is important historical event celebrated in modern Ukraine as Day of Unity of all Ukrainians. On this day in 1919 the Treaty of Unity between Ukrainian Peoples Republic and Western Ukrainian Peoples Republic has been signed. APRIL
