Join The Atlanta Women’s Foundation for a session of Women on Board, a women’s leadership program focused on developing the skills of current and potential board leaders. The Women on Board program offers a series of workshop as well as connects women with local organizations seeking talented and trained board members. There will be a Level Two workshop on June 15, 2018, from 8:30 am - 3:00 pm at the office of Troutman Sanders. The cost to attend is $175.

The Level Two: Advanced Board Training workshop explores nonprofit board governance topics in depth, including the financial responsibilities of nonprofit boards, the challenge of building board capacity to support organizational growth, and strategic planning. The workshop is designed for women who have significant experience serving on a nonprofit board and are looking to gain deeper insight and understanding in the areas of board governance and finances.

Created in 2000, the program was designed to increase the number of women on nonprofit boards in Metro Atlanta by providing effective board governance training to Atlanta women and connecting participants to nonprofit organizations. Since its inception, the program has trained more than 3,000 women in board governance and leadership skills.
