Head of State sacks CEOs of BDA and Capitals Market Commission

Luanda, ANGOLA, October 13 - The Angolan President, João Lourenço, sacked on Thursday in Luanda the CEO of the boards of directors of the Development Bank of Angola (BDA), Manuel Neto da Costa, and the Capitals Market Commission (CMC), Vera Esperança dos Santos Daves.,

 

According to a press release from the President's Civil Office, Manuel de Jesus Moreira was also sacked from the position of executive director of the Angolan Agency for Insurance Regulation and Supervision (ARSEG).

 

In another Presidential Decree, released on Thursday, Manuel Neto da Costa, Vera Esperança dos Santos Daves and Manuel de Jesus Moreira were appointed Secretaries of State for Planning; for Finance and Treasury; and for Labour and Social Security, respectively.

 

The Secretaries of State now named, in addition to these three, are taking office this Friday at the Presidential Palace in Luanda.
