Luanda, ANGOLA, May 22 - The Secretariat of Political Bureau of the ruling MPLA party on Tuesday discussed the information on preparation process of the organisation's 6th Extraordinary Congress, slated for next September. ,

 

The session, chaired by the head of State João Lourenço, analysed the results from the regional meetings of members of the Central Committee, according to the party's communiqué reached Angop Tuesday.

 

The meeting also approached the draft resolutions on the Consultation of Intermediate Organs of the Immediate Lower Level and the Methodology on the Modalities and Forms of Consultation, under the preparation of the next Extraordinary Congress.

 

The party also reviewed a proposal on a Plan of Implementation of the Methodological Meeting of the Department for Staff Policy of the MPLA Central Committee.

 

The meeting also analysed opinions on the appointment of staff to fill vacancies in the central auxiliary apparatus of the Party.

 

The Meeting was attended by members of the Organ, auxiliary members of the Executive Power, as guests.
