Minister rules out legislation deficit in country

Luanda, ANGOLA, July 16 - The Minister of Justice and Human Rights, Francisco Queirós, Monday in Luanda ruled the existence of a deficit of laws in the country, noting that the problem lies in its practical enforcement.,

"There is no shortage of laws in the country, our bodies with legislative competence produce a lot of legislation, at a very great pace, but the problem is the enforcement of these laws," said the minister, speaking on the sidelines of a talk alluding to World Law Day, which was marked on 10 July.

For him, the practical application of the laws passes through the instruments of administrative, police and judicial nature, along with a significant investment in the justice sector. He believes that there is a great sensitivity on the part of the Head of the Executive Branch to provide the justice sector with financial means to meet to the major challenges of today, calling for the need to moralize society on the importance of moral values and respect for laws.
