New Agostinho Neto Memorial manager takes over

Luanda, ANGOLA, September 16 - The new CEO of the Dr. António Agostinho Neto Memorial, António Fonseca, was inaugurated last Friday in Luanda, in a ceremony led by the Minister of State and head of the Civil Office of the President of the Republic, Frederico Cardoso.,

 Frederico Cardoso, who was speaking at the inauguration ceremony, said the there is a need to continue to innovate in order to make known to the new generations and to those who visit the country everything that Neto left, his works, his teachings, his vision for Angola, Africa and the world.

 

Speaking to Journalists , at the end of the ceremony, the new chairman of the Board of Directors of Dr. António Agostinho Neto Memorial, said that in the first phase it is fundamental to identify the problems and appeal to people’s genius and artistry, so that later on it can be improved and better fulfilled the role reserved to Agostinho Neto.

 

He defended a broad debate of ideas on cultural issues. He pledged commitment to divulging the work of Neto in its various aspects, through a consistent programme.
