Working visit to Khujand city of Sughd region

TAJIKISTAN, April 15 - On April 15, visiting Khujand city, the Founder of Peace and National Unity - Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Emomali Rahmon, commissioned a non-state educational institution, the Institute of Exact Sciences and Technologies of Tajikistan.

The educational building consists of 5 floors, a basement, 67 classrooms, 8 technical laboratories, 20 classrooms, 4 computer classes and a library with 4200 scientific and artistic books, an electronic library with a fund of 209 thousand books. The established Institute of Exact Sciences and Technologies of Tajikistan in Khujand has the capacity to enroll 2,600 full-time and distance students in 21 modern specialties that meet the requirements of the labor market. With the opening of the institute, 80 teachers and technical workers are provided with jobs and favorable working conditions.

Then, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Emomali Rahmon, launched in Khujand the production workshop "Khujand - Mogilyovliftmash ''.

The new production workshop was built with the contribution of the entrepreneur, the head of the "Khujandtorgmash" LLC Muzaffar Jumaev, in cooperation with the Mogilyovliftmash elevator manufacturing enterprise of the Republic of Belarus. The production capacity of the enterprise is 36 modern elevators, with the construction of a new elevator production workshop in Khujand, 50 local residents are provided with jobs and good wages.

Afterwards, the Leader of the Nation Emomali Rahmon visited the building of the State Theater of Musical Comedy named after Kamol Khujandi in Khujand, where a major overhaul was carried out. In this one of the oldest cultural institutions, the necessary conditions have been created for the effective work of the creative team. To date, the State Theater of Musical Comedy named after Kamol Khujandi employs 161 people, 70 of them make up the creative team. The head of state highly appreciated the art of the artists. Cultural figures of the Sughd region, especially theater artists, expressed their gratitude to the President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon for his constant attention and care for the preservation and development of the great culture of the Tajik people.
