![]() Relaxing Foot Massage Keeps You on Your Toes This XmasNovember 12, 2009 Tampa Bay, FL (WiredPRNews.com) – November 9, 2009 – Holiday Shopping can really take a toll on your feet. With one quarter of the body’s bones and hundreds of muscles, ligaments and tendons in your foot, it’s no wonder that when your feet hurt, everything hurts! Here’s a quick foot massage from Sacred Glo TM Lotion Candles to help those tired feet feel great again: • Start by loosening up your feet, stand up on your toes, rock back and forth and roll your foot at the ankle. Do this ten times for each foot. • Take your foot gently in your hands and pour a few drops of warm lotion/massage oil from an all-natural Sacred Glo Lotion Candle on the top of your foot. • Begin stroking the top of your foot between the cords, from toe to ankle, first gently, then increasing the pressure. • Next pour a few drops of warm lotion/massage oil on the bottom of your foot and make circular motions with your thumb and fingers over the soles of your feet varying the pressure. • Knead the sole by holding your foot in one hand and, making a fist with the other, go back and forth using moderate pressure on the sole and arch. • Beginning with the big toe, and working towards the pinky toe, roll each toe between your thumb and forefinger as you slide your fingers down to the end of your foot, then take your index finger and slide it between each toe several times. • To finish, use your thumb and fingers to make circular motions over the sole, and stroke the sole and instep of each foot. • Slip on some thick socks to retain the moisturizing lotion and enjoy the feeling of total relaxation!
