2nd Ethiopia International Mining Conference & Exhibition

It is worth noting that although mining is emerging as an important component to Ethiopia’s economy, the industry only still accounts for 1% of the GDP. Therefore, it is with this in mind that AME Trade in partnership with Ethiopia’s Ministry of Mines have organised the 2nd Ethiopian International Mining Conference. The inaugural Ethiopia Mining International Conference was a huge success and attracted more than 300 participants from over 22 countries. The event set the stage for increasing the visibility of the country’s mining potential and its positioning as an economic driver, which will form the backbone of the 2nd edition programme.
